Rebuilt Starter Ford Flathead 6-V (wide bearing plate) complete with Bendix drive
Fits all 1932 to 1953 6-Volt only w/standard transmission except 60 hp engine and 337 cu. in. engine.
If you need a 12-volt conversion starter, you must order the later starter
(FF7HA-11002) with the narrow bearing holder and note that it must be for 12-volts. Will not fit any vehicle with automatic transmission.
Contact us if you have a starter core, your non-working starter of similar type. A $30.00 credit will be allowed if you ship us your non-working starter that fits the same models.
These starter frames are not painted, they are bare steel ready for your engine color of paint. All parts cleaned and inspected. Bad parts replaced with new or rebuilt parts.
Original Field Coils completely rebuilt with new twill wrap, no foreign made replacements.
Armature tested, commutator turned, shaft straightened, and wire winds coated with wire coating to protect against deteriation of the insulation.
New brushes, new bearings where needed, new or rebuilt copper terminal stud kit with copper nut.
New stainless steel brush access cover band. (not pictured)
The starter Bendix Drive Kit is inspected to be in good as new condition or a rebuilt unit is installed in its place. Complete starter is bench tested and actually engine tested for good starting power.
