Rebuilt 12-V0lt Starter Ford Flathead (narrow bearing plate) complete with Bendix drive
Fits all 1932 to 1953 w/standard transmission except 60 hp engine and 337 cu. in. engine.
Will not fit any vehicle with automatic transmission. Generally, I use these later starters with narrow mounting plates for 12-volt conversions, but contact me if you want an original 6-volt built using the narrow mounting plate.

These starter frames are not painted, They are bare steel ready for your engine color of paint. Includes stainless steel brush cover band. All parts cleaned and inspected. Bad parts replaced with new or rebuilt parts.
Original Field Coils completely rebuilt with new twill wrap, no foreign made replacements.
Armature tested, commutator turned, shaft straightened, and wire winds coated with wire coating to protect against deteriation of the insulation.
New brushes, new bearings where needed, new or rebuilt copper terminal stud kit with copper nut.
New Stainless steel brush access cover band.
The starter Bendix Drive Kit is inspected to be in good as new condition or a rebuilt unit is installed in its place.
Completed starter is bench tested and actually engine tested for good starting power.
